I met Jasmin and Mariann last year at the first Eat Plants, Save the Planet fundraiser that supported my campaign for Pittsford Town Council. There were a lot of comments about my unique approach as I openly discussed veganism as part of my platform. Honestly, I don't think you can have meaningful conversations about sustainability and reversing global warming without discussing our food systems and the need for plant-based solutions.
Jasmin and Mariann invited me to be a guest on their podcast, Our Hen House. Of course, I said yes, because I needed publicity. I'm so glad that I did because I can literally feel myself growing as a person every time I tune in. They interview some of the most interesting and inspiring people. I find the show constantly calls into question information that was falsely stored as facts somewhere on my journey. I often want to talk back…
